This journey started when our daughter had a liking to lip balms. Unfortunately after use, they dried her lips out and caused a rash around them. It was then I realised the harsh ingredients we use in products and around the home. We set out on a mission studying and producing natural products without the harmful ingredients for our family and others to enjoy.
We debated this name for some time but a little reading into rainbows had us hooked. We always get to see the rainbows from where we live now and called our little sanctuary Rainbow Skys. Naturally was added for that is our aim.
A rainbow is a meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light in the sky. It takes the form of a multicoloured circular arc.
There is a lot of magical belief and symbolic meaning of rainbows. It is a symbol of peace and serenity. It is an inner awakening and sometimes lucky like the “Pot of Gold” at the end of a rainbow. It can also mean transition or a link being the bridge between two realms.
There is an undeniable feeling of inspiration and positivity when a rainbow appears and no matter how many we see, we stop to take in the breathtaking view.
